At Horton Hat Co., we are more than just a hat company—we are a tribute to family, adventure, and a relentless spirit that’s been passed down through generations. I found inspiration in the idea of creating something that represents both the trailblazing spirit of today and the deep-rooted traditions of our Black, Irish, Indigenous, Mexican, and Creole cultures. 

Our story began with a simple yet powerful symbol: a $2 bill, tucked inside a hat during a nomadic adventure. This cherished keepsake, a gift from our granny, represents not just heritage but guidance of our ancestors. 

With 22 years in the apparel industry, we are now building our own legacy rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and the unwavering belief that hats are more than just accessories—they are statements of who you are. 

As my daughters grew up riding, they searched for a brand that reflected their bold, outside-the-box approach to their own lives. Each piece embodies grit, boldness, and the spirit of a true adventurer, whether you’re trekking through the wild or navigating life’s challenges. With a unique pocket, a nod to our ancestors, and a crown that stands tall—our hats hold the stories of those who came before us and the journeys yet to be written.
